Japanese: some text still shows in English

With the device set to Japanese, parts of the app still appear in English, including some What's New entries and the Shortcut tile type. The missing Japanese translations will be completed in an upcoming update. If you spot other untranslated text in any language, add a comment with a screenshot.

Some generated dark icons look wrong

Dark icons for apps in our built-in catalog are prepared in advance. For every other app, the dark icon is generated on your device, and for some apps the result looks broken or off (reported so far: DAMA, Xianyu, Doubao, JD, QQ). The bright ring some dark icons had around their edge has already been fixed in a recent update. We're now improving the generator using these examples. If an app's dark icon looks wrong for you, add a comment with the app's name and a screenshot.

Separate settings for each subfolder (app names, icon size, spacing)

Customize a subfolder independently from its main group: - Show or hide app names per subfolder - Icon size per subfolder, e.g. large icons on the first level and small icons inside a subfolder so more apps fit - Spacing and color per subfolder Requested by several of you. Vote if you want it too.

WidgetLoft briefly flashes on screen when opening an app

In some cases, when you open an app from a widget, WidgetLoft appears on screen for a split second before the app opens. This didn't happen in earlier versions. Confirmed on our side. A fix is planned for an upcoming update.

Option to show the group name on the widget

An optional title with the group's name on the Home Screen widget, which you can turn on or off. We left it out at first to keep widgets clean, but several of you asked for it, so it's coming as an option. A title takes vertical space, so it's being designed together with the app name labels to keep the grid and the in-app preview matching.

Control how the glass widget looks in Dark Mode

The glass widget background follows the system appearance, and you want different things from it: - Some of you want it to darken a bit in Dark Mode, like other apps' glass widgets. - Others want the opposite: keep the system dark but the glass clear, so the wallpaper shows through. Idea: a Glass Appearance setting (Automatic / Clear / Dark), or a clear-to-dark slider. We're looking into what iOS allows here.

Keep the Live Activity running all day

iOS ends a Live Activity after about 8 hours, so the quick-launch bar on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island disappears during the day. Idea: an "Extend Live Activity" action for the Shortcuts app plus a short guide for setting up time-based automations, so the bar stays on around the clock.

Adjustable icon corner radius and a honeycomb layout

Two ways to change how icons look on the widget: - Corner radius: make icons more or less rounded. - Honeycomb layout: arrange icons in an Apple Watch–style honeycomb instead of a grid. Corner radius is the smaller change and would come first. The honeycomb layout needs a new grid design for both the widget and the in-app preview.

Make it clear the light/dark toggle in the group editor is only a preview

The sun / moon / auto toggle at the top of the group editor only previews how your icons look in Light and Dark Mode. It doesn't save anything, and several of you tried to set an icon's dark look from there. Planned: a clearer "Preview" label on that toggle, and short tips the first time you open each screen. To change an app's dark icon today: tap the app → Change Icon → Dark appearance. This doesn't affect the light icon.

Icon spacing and margins grow too large when app names are shown

With app names turned on, the minimum icon spacing and edge margin settings no longer tighten the grid: icons end up far apart with large margins. It's most visible inside subfolders. With app names off, the same settings work as expected. We're reworking the label layout so spacing and margins behave the same either way.
