2.1.1 · Pick what dark icons sit on

Black, charcoal, Apple's gradient, midnight or a colour of your own. The white line around logos that were already dark is gone too, Apple's own apps included, so they all sit on the same flat ground. Your choice reaches the widget, the Lock Screen and the app at once.

Give names a colour

Pick the colour of app names per group and add a hairline outline if you want. They read on a light wallpaper and on a dark one.

Your Lock Screen, your icons

The quick-launch bar and the Dynamic Island now show dark icons, your own photos and your symbol, emoji and letter tiles. Their appearance has a setting of its own.

• A separate icon for dark. Dark follows light by default. Give it its own photo or the app's original icon instead, and what you pick for dark leaves light alone.
• The group editor, tidied. Name, size and colour up top, the fine-tuning on a second tab. The Transparent explanation is a tip you can dismiss.
• Redeem Code. Enter a gift code from the top left of the Pro screen or from Settings.
• iCloud is tied to your account. Switching Apple account no longer mixes your data up, it asks what you want to do. And you can restore your backup without Pro.
• Apps that open by scheme. Schemes the widget could not open, WeChat and Alipay among them, now open through WidgetLoft.
• Newly recognised apps. ChatGPT, Google Photos, Duolingo, LINE and Viber now show as installed. Apple Support joins the catalog.
• Edit a tile from the list. Long press an app in the add list to open its detail; you don't have to leave the group screen.
• Fixes. Tiles that opened the wrong app are repaired, a custom icon you delete stays gone, saving a group refreshes the widget right away, and letter tiles are the size in the widget that the preview shows.
